Mamatography - Week 15

Day 99

(04/08/12)

Traditional candy for breakfast on Easter morning. Of course she woke up early, without even having discussed the fact that goodies would await her! I think maybe she was whispering to me here.

I gouged a chunk out of my back on a door latch that sticks out. It hurt!

Day 100

Sasha's first trip to the dentist went very well with minimal fuss. Here the tech is getting a first peek into Sasha's mouth.

Day 101

Naps are very rare these days. Sasha fell asleep in her bunk, wearing a sundress that my mother made for Ronni. It will go in the keepsake box very soon, in case I should have granddaughters some day.

Day 102

My friends Rebekah & Christopher (and their boys) from Liberated Family and Born at Home Toys came (bearing gifts!) to visit us and especially to meet Spencer.

Sasha's first trip to a "Play Place." I totally don't follow the rules. Sasha was 6 months under the minimum and I was definitely over the maximum height!

Day 105

Sasha loved the Easter Bunny! I don't even think she connected him with the goodies she got the week before.

We attended the Down Syndrome Association of Tulsa's Easter Egg Hunt. There were lots of activities (including the Easter Bunny photo op above), food, and the hunt itself. It was the only hunt we did this year.
