Happy Woodchuck Day!
As for my February Thankful Challenge:
My Day 2: I am proud that I taught myself HTML years ago. I love that I can write code when blogging. There is so much more coding I could / should learn, but I like that I know this basic language.
- I am thankful for my friends. I have learned so much from them. I also appreciate their willingness to learn (usually about odd topics) from me.
- I am thankful for power through the storm.
- I am thankful for work being closed yesterday and today!
I did not know they were the same thing! You learn something every day…
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for HTML, too. I used to have a little flip book that I would look through to get tips from. Now, of course, I just look online, but back in the early days of the web, it was easier to look in a book for html help — go figure! :)
Is it me or I found those Groundhogs cute? :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting, Gal Pal! I thought they were adorable, too! Until we realized they were likely tunneling under our shed and could make it unsafe for us! Honestly, they had only shown up once before and then seemed to disappear again. I don't think we ever did do anything about them. My ex-husband still lives there.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad we didn't lose power. That would have stunk We had several people offer for us to stay with them if we did, but we didn't really know any of them well and it would have been really awkward in my current state!
ReplyDeleteI always wish that I had learned html... I could never find a way to learn it that made sense to me.
I originally used a Quick Bunny guide book. It was REALLY easy to do. Here is the newer edition:
ReplyDeleteHTML, XHTML, and CSS, Sixth Edition
And yeah, I can't imagine the awkwardness of taking the entire family to stay with someone you didn't know that well. :-\ Yay for power!
