Sunday Surf: Daddies, Milk Production, and Sleep

It has been a wonderful week of finding our groove as a family of 4. (Ronni isn't home from his vacation just yet.) Here are the links I've saved to share with you this week.

50 Rules for Dads of Daughters

A friend shared this via Facebook this week. I've seen it before. I might have even included it on a Sunday Surf before. But it really is a good one. A worthy reminder...

Maximizing Milk Production with Hands On Pumping

I had to start pumping in the hospital right after Spencer was born. A friend shared this link with me. Thankfully, my supply has been more than adequate. It helps that Sasha is nursing, too. If you're pumping, come check out these pointers for getting the most for your pumping buck, as it were.

The division of responsibility in sleeping

This is not the article I thought it was, based on the title. I thought it had to do with a mother / father balance when it comes to putting little ones to bed / sleep. I tend to skip such articles because our schedules don't allow for Daddy to put the kids to bed. (He works at roughly 4am.) Then someone linked me to it.

This post could not BE more timely for me! I had basically started to come to the same revelation! I've been making some pretty big changes to how I handle Sasha's bed time and they line up well with what Hobo Mama says here. AND - they're working!

Sunday Surf with Authentic Parenting and Hobo MamaI'm joining Authentic Parenting and Hobo Mama for Sunday Surf. Share your best reading of the week, and link up your post at either blog!
